Behind the scenes - Mango’s version of “Sparrows Lodge”

Behind the scenes - M’s version

One thing I really like is to see things from different people perspectives, both in life in general and also in this blog context. Since I most times travel with others I love when I get to see what and also how they experience things from their point of view. I have previously shared how my friend Jack experienced our trip to Los Alamos in California when we stayed at The Alamo Hotel. You can see that post and the film he made here. I also have a post where my husband, with his unique photo esthetic shot our stay at Place to Read in Iceland which you can experience here.

This time the husband has been active with his Olympus camera once again when we stayed a Palm Springs rustic-chic hotel, Sparrows Lodge. You can see my post here and below you can experience the Mango version which a reader referred to that it looks like a family photo album from the early 90s. M was super happy with that comment since that is exactly the look he is going for.

Enjoy the Sparrows Lodge from a totally different perspective.

Some kombucha for the ride to Palm Springs from LA.

We have checked in and M has hung his cap.

Me reading up on what to do in and around the Sparrows Lodge.

My favorite travel companion (except for the husband), my bright yellow Mulberry bag.

We are heading out to Ace Hotel in Palm Springs for dinner together with our friends Jack and Tanja.

This used to be a massive chunk of banoffie pie.

Some street art.

The pool at the Sparrows Lodge.

Sunrise over Palm Springs.

A half full cup of cappuccino from local coffee bar Koffi.

Ready for some exercise in our backyard.

Fresh sage being burnt at breakfast.

Our lovely friends, Jack and Tanja. One Britt and one Swede living in LA.

Me in the golden morning desert light.
